I’m absolutely gripped, and thankful it’s so long as I never want it to end. Listening to @marian_keyes read is so comforting, it’s like a big hug for your ears. A hug that you don’t want to let go of because it’s so good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First time making granola in 34 years. Bearing in mind I can’t eat oats or sugar or anything normal it actually tastes pretty good. It’s mostly nuts and seeds held together with coconut oil and lots of salt, because I need to get flavour in there somehow. Plus some stevia powder to give the illusion of sweetness to my poor deprived tastebuds. Safe to say granola is definitely not going to be my next food business, but it’ll do until I can eat like a normal person again. #granolagram
Once you’ve had @rudehealth Ultimate Almond you actually realise how crap other almond milk is. I now know that it doesn’t have to be all watery and useless. I love a milky tea, and usually with almond milk I have to put half a pint in to achieve my desired shade of pale biscuit. At which point the tea is lukewarm and it’s all rather disheartening. Not the case with this stuff. It’s thick and creamy, and diluted my tea to the perfect hue and temperature with a single sploosh. I assumed it would be full of weird ingredients to achieve this and found it’s made with water and almonds. That’s it. Wut?! Not sure how they achieve this mystery but like I said, it renders all other almond milk a bit awful. I assume it’s a bit more pricey, but C bought this one and left it at mine so happy tea drinking to me. ⁣ ⁣ **Yes I know oat is better for the planet but I can’t have oats at the moment. Don’t @ me 🙏
I make the same birthday cake for @alexistymon every year. It’s an unwritten rule of our friendship that this cake will appear each year to celebrate her birth. No requests for said cake are uttered, it’s just an understanding between us. To ask for it would be gauche, and besides, it’s unnecessary. I never, ever want to think of a time that I won’t be baking this cake come Feb 9th as I love this tradition of ours (mine of baking, hers of eating). The cake in question is a fresh raspberry Bakewell. Yes it’s vegan and no you won’t notice. It’s moist and squidgy and topped with icing and flaked almonds. And birthday candles, ofc. This year I threw some blueberries in too and made it in 3 tiers. I’m not sure how I’m going to up the ante next year, but I very much hope that I’ll still be baking this cake for decades to come 🎂💗
I could tell you that I didn’t go all the way to Suffolk just to buy chocolate, but that might be a lie #pumpstreetchocolate

So I’ve been told I need to balance my blood sugar by eating protein and fat at every meal. Apparently nothing but marmite on toast and 4 cups of tea before 3pm isn’t hitting the mark, nutritionally speaking. Whatever you say Dr 🤷🏼‍♀️. So for my 9.30pm dinner I put half a jar of chocolate @seadfoods tahini on my, slightly stale, fruit and fibre covered in blueberries. Happy now?? #mealinspo
